RENT - You deserve the best

I had an excellent experience with Top Rent Car Rental at Kaunas Airport. The entire process was smooth, from pickup to return. The staff were friendly, professional, and quick to assist with any questions, they waited for me even after my flight was delayed for 2 hours, the Agent to assist me was Jašinauskaitė, D. very helpful and friendly.The vehicle was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described. The pickup process was straightforward, and there were no hidden surprises. Returning the car was just as easy, which made my trip much more convenient.I especially appreciated the clear communication and customer service throughout the rental period. If you're visiting Lithuania and need a reliable rental car, I would definitely recommend Top Rent Car Rental at Kaunas Airport.Thank you for the great service. I would not recommend TOPRENT based on my experience.I rented a car from TOPRENT at Kaunas Airport in May 2026. After my rental ended, the company charged my credit card €580 for alleged damage without providing any evidence. The invoice simply stated there was a "dent" and included no photographs, inspection report, or explanation of how the damage was linked to my rental.After I disputed the charge and requested evidence, TOPRENT admitted that the charge had been made in error and agreed to refund the money. Unfortunately, this was only the beginning of a lengthy and frustrating process.Over the following weeks, I received a series of contradictory emails. At various times, I was told that:the refund was being processed;the refund had already been sent;the refund had been sent on a specific date;the refund had been processed but no proof could be provided;the refund had not actually been sent due to another "mistake";the refund had been approved but was still waiting for someone to execute the payment.Every time I contacted customer service, I received a different explanation. Despite repeated assurances that the refund would be completed "within a few days," I had to wait several weeks before my money was finally returned.To make matters worse, because the refund was delayed for so long, I incurred additional interest charges from my credit card provider. I also lost money due to exchange rate differences between the original charge and the delayed refund. TOPRENT refused to reimburse either of these losses, even though they resulted directly from their mistake and the prolonged delay.The customer service throughout this process was disappointing. While staff repeatedly apologised, they were unable to provide accurate information or realistic timelines, and they repeatedly gave incorrect updates about the status of my refund.Mistakes can happen, but what matters is how a company resolves them. In my case, the handling of the dispute, the lack of transparency, the conflicting information, and the excessive delay in returning my money left me with very little confidence in TOPRENT.I hope TOPRENT improves its claims handling and customer service so that other customers do not have a similar experience. Never book with these guys. Told me via phone that I could pay the depoid with debid card. Ones there it wasnt possible. To rent the car they told me to take the most expensive insurance pack (100 euro or so) and after I could do the deposid by depid card. Now more then a month later I am still waiting to get the deposid back. But they always have other excuses. Very bad company. Also unfriendely and slow workers at the pick up. Show less

Update for below: they have finally refunded me after more than 4 month and only when this review went viral. For that reason I am not taking it down nor changing my rating to make other people aware and more vigilant. Updating my review as this company has just mocked me in mid day light. I have rented again as had a good experience before. Little did I know. I needed to extend my stay so I rang to extend rent. They had no problem with that but I later realised I needed insurance too which was not included with extension. I rang again to hold with the rent. Then I found that renting as new account is more cost efficient and insurance included than extending so I returned vehicle on time frame. However I was told that money already been deducted from my card for extension and they told it will be refunded. I have presented them with all documentation that car was returned. After long communication they have admitted the mistake and promised that refund will be issued. As of today is almost 4 month but no money received. Be aware as they are quick to take your money but no refunds. Show less

Super smooth experience with TOPrent. I fly to Lithuania often for work, and this time I landed very late at midnight in Kaunas, but the staff was still there waiting for me at the airport with the keys ready. The girl who helped me was very friendly and explained everything clearly.The whole process was easy, fast, and stress free. Their prices were also better than other rental companies I’ve used before for the same car category.Everything was perfect. Highly recommend TOPrent if you’re visiting Lithuania and need a reliable rental car. Definitely renting from them again on my future trips. Show less

Gotta be careful what extras you're paying for as they may lie and overcharge you. Promise you free certain service and a big tank of cheap fuel, but when receipt is received via email much later, just to find out there was no free services and fuel tank they sold is actually small. Show less

The car was clean, in great condition, and the pricing was reasonable. No hidden surprises, no unnecessary complications, just a straightforward and reliable service.What I also really liked was how simple it was to find the parking area where the car was located. After leaving the airport, it was only around a 3-minute walk from their office to the airport parking lot, so the pickup and drop off process felt very smooth.I’ll definitely be using TOPrent⁠ again for my future trips to Lithuania and would recommend them to anyone looking for an easy car rental experience at Kaunas Airport. Be careful when you sign the documents before taking a car for rent because you are signing that if you violate the traffic rules some unheard of company Admita will charge you not only a fine but another €50 on top... and I don't know for what.Since it is very easy to commit a violate in Lithuania, especially if you come from another country where the rules are different, you may have considerable losses. This company Admita fines you more than the police fine.For example: for wrong parking a fine is €15 but you will pay €65 . €50 will take from your card extra because you are signed. :(Choose rental companies carefully!
